During the initial meeting, an adoption professional will meet informally with you to get acquainted and review the necessary information for the home study process. The paperwork involves providing details about your personal background, financial stability, and other relevant information required by the state.
Once you complete the home study paperwork, take adoption education courses, and undergo a home visit, a home study report will be written and prepared for submission to the appropriate authorities.
